Months have passed and people continue to complain about one particular junction that remains overly crowded and narrow, yet our Traffic Police officers do not seem to care.

At the exit of the Mysuru Zoo underpass, an illegal auto stand has been creating a perpetual traffic bottleneck. Autos are parked wherever the drivers please, blocking traffic on both sides of the road.

Forget traffic. Even the entire footpath has been taken over, leaving no space for tourists exiting the underpass to walk. Locals too are forced onto the road because autos and vendors - tender coconut, fruit and sugarcane carts - have occupied every inch of the footpath.

Who gives them the right to park on footpaths and disrupt traffic throug...
