Mysore/Mysuru, Dec. 21 -- Marking National Farmers Day, the city based Karunadu Raitha Rakshana Pade has organised a day-long 'Raithara Habba' (Farmers Festival) at the Skating Ground in Hebbal here on Dec. 24.

Announcing this at a press meet here yesterday, Karunadu Raitha Rakshana Pade Founder-State President M.K. Sanjay said that the event will commence from 11 am on that day.

Union Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy, MP Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar, Ministers Zameer Ahmed & N. Cheluvarayaswamy, MLAs G.T Devegowda & K. Harishgowda and other elected representatives are expected to take part.

Condolence will be paid to 'Vruksha Maate' Saalumarada Thimmakka, who passed away recently, he said.
