Bengaluru, March 11 -- The Directorate of Enforcement (ED) has filed an appeal before the High Court of Karnataka against a Single Judge Bench order that declared its search and seizure operation at the residence of Dr. D.B. Natesh, former Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) Commissioner, as illegal, unwarranted and an abuse of law.
The ED has also contested the Judge's decision to grant Natesh the liberty to take action against ED officials under Section 62 of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). With ED now seeking interim relief and the case set for further hearing, the legal battle over the MUDA scam investigation has intensified.
