Mysuru, June 16 -- Pune-based wrestler Vishal Segale won the 'Maharaja Yaduveer Wadiyar' Cup in the National-level Traditional Wrestling tournament organised by Prakruti Foundation as part of its first anniversary at D. Devaraj Urs Multi-Purpose Stadium next Dasara Exhibition Grounds yesterday.
Vishal Segal won by pinning Belagavi wrestler Pailwan Manju at the evaporated soil (Aave Mannu) wrestling arena.
In the Marpeet section, the bout between Sangli's Sudesh Thakur and Pune's Vikram Ghorpade made the spectators stand on their feet. The bout between Kolhapur's Rushikesh Patil and Mahadevapura's Vikas too was a thrilling encounter.
