India, Oct. 23 -- Mysuru, Oct. 23 (SPN&BS)- In a major crackdown on those indulging in public nuisance, the City Police, who took out 'Area Domination Drive' recently, have booked 27 cases under COTPA Act (Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products (Prohibition of Advertisement and Regulation of Trade and Commerce, Production, Supply and Distribution) Act, 2003) and four persons for consuming liquor in public.

The simultaneous drive, under the supervision of DCP (Law and Order) R.N. Bindu Mani, was carried out by Saraswathipuram Policemen, Ashokapuram, Krishnaraja, Lakshmipuram, Metagalli and Hebbal Police personnel, in their jurisdiction respectively.
