Mysore/Mysuru, Feb. 23 -- "Writing is not merely about acknowledging readers. It is about crafting stories and novels rooted in trust and credibility through research," said author and illustrator Preeti Shenoy.

In conversation with Geetha Kariappa, Shenoy reflected on her literary journey, emphasising that writing should inspire readers. "For me, books themselves have been the greatest source of inspiration," she said. She noted that her story collections have found a wide readership both in India and abroad. "In the past 40 days alone, I have read 22 books. Books have been my teachers," she remarked.
