India, Nov. 19 -- As part of Heritage Week celebrations, Department of Archaeology, Museums and Heritage, Govt. of Karnataka, conducted a Heritage Walk for trainees at Postal Training Centre (PTC) in city this morning. The walk began from Town Hall premises with Heritage expert Prof. N.S. Rangaraju explaining about the history of Town Hall and later about Chamaraja Wadiyar at Chamaraja Circle and also about the history of Mysore Kingdom, Mysore Palace and contributions of Mysore Maharajas and Maharanis. Later, the postal trainees were also briefed about Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar and the history of Dufferin Clock Tower.
