India, Oct. 29 -- Mysuru, Oct. 29- The new team of Mysore University Library and Information Science Students' Association (MULISSA) was formed at the Department of Studies in Library and Information Science, University of Mysore, recently.

The event, held at Dr. S.R. Ranganathan Seminar Hall in the presence of faculty members, research scholars and MLISc students, was presided by Prof. N.S. Harinarayana, Chairman of the Department.

The Association aims to promote students' overall development, foster teamwork, build leadership qualities and strengthen Department's academic and cultural environment.
