Mysore/Mysuru, Dec. 24 -- A life-size colour portrait of erstwhile Maharaja of Mysore Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar, the Founder of K.R. Hospital, was unveiled at the hospital premises in city yesterday.
Member of Erstwhile Royal Family of Mysore Pramoda Devi Wadiyar, unveiled the portrait, which is eight-feet long and six-feet in width, at the main entrance of the hospital, where the administrative block functions.
Speaking on the occasion, Pramoda Devi Wadiyar said, "We share an emotional bond with the K.R. Hospital. Moreover, with the intention of continuing the initiatives of our ancestors, I have unveiled the portrait of Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar, with extreme happiness."
