India, Oct. 31 -- Mysuru, Oct. 31 - If all goes according to the plan, the cultural capital Mysuru may get two new flyovers to ease of traffic flow. Public Works Department (PWD) has been mulling over to build flyovers on two prominent roads - JLB Road and Vinoba Road (Hunsur Road) - in city on the lines of Bengaluru, where flyovers have come in handy in addressing major traffic bottlenecks.
Reasons aplenty
Mysuru, being a prominent tier-II city, is witnessing a rapid growth, with the borders of the city growing beyond over 40-km long Outer Ring Road (ORR) junction. Also the rise in traffic density and the rate of accidents along with the spurt in population growth are truly the matters of concern.
