May 24 (6 pm), May 22 -- Sri Nadabrahma Sangeetha Sabha will hold a week-long music programme in memory of different Doyens of Karnatak Classical Music totalling to six concerts - Concert in memory of Vid. M.J. Srinivasa Iyengar (MJS), an extraordinary exponent and teacher of veena; Sri Muthuswami Dikshitar's 250th Birth Anniversary Concert; Sangeetha Kalanidhi Mysore K. Vasudevacharya's 158th Birth Anniversary Concert and three flute concerts in memory of flute wizard Mali (T.R. Mahalingam).

Veena Gana Sambhrama - MJS Memorial Concert, sponsored by students and family of MJS, is presented by Prof. N. Ananthanarayanan from Chennai. He will be accompanied by Vid. A. Radhesh on mridanga and Vidu. Sukanya Ramgopal on ghata.
