Mysuru, Feb. 10 -- In a U-turn this morning, RTI activist Snehamayi Krishna announced that he will not be filing an appeal in the Supreme Court (SC) to transfer the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) case against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and his family from the Lokayukta to the CBI.
Earlier, Snehamayi Krishna had petitioned the High Court seeking a CBI investigation into allegations regarding the allocation of 14 sites to Chief Minister's wife B.M. Parvathi in exchange for her 3.16-acre land at Kesare that MUDA acquired.
However, after hearing arguments, the High Court dismissed the petition and upheld the Lokayukta investigation.
