Numerous reports have appeared in SOM about footpath encroachments by vendors thus risking lives of pedestrians who are forced to walk on the road, even though footpaths are meant for pedestrians.

In Hebbal too one can see the tiled footpath from CITB Choultry to Ring Road junction almost fully occupied by chaat and other types of eatable vendors.

During evenings - between 6 pm and 9 pm - there will be heavy crowd.

The vehicles, particularly two-wheelers of the customers visiting these carts, are parked on the roadside occupying some portion of one side of the road thus forcing the pedestrians to walk on the road risking their lives.
