Mysuru, March 10 -- M.N. Bhagath Simha Memorial State Level T20 Cricket Tournament, organised by Jai Hind Cricket Club, came to a close with Bangalore Occasionals, led by skipper M. Kranthi Kumar, emerging as champions defeating Vijaya Cricket Club in the finals played at SDNR Wadiyar Stadium in Manasagangothri here yesterday.
Having won the toss and elected to bat first, Vijaya Cricket Club scored 148/7 in the allotted 20 overs. Samit Dravid top-scored with 39 runs while Yuvraj Arora (35) and Sachin Shinde (32) were the other contributors. Lavish Kushal picked up four wickets giving away 32 runs for Bangalore Occasionals.
Chasing a moderate target of 149 runs, Bangalore Occasionals reached the target in just 17.3 overs with five wicket...
