Mysuru, Feb. 28 -- A leopard was trapped early this morning in one of the four cages placed by the Forest Department outside Bharatiya Reserve Bank Note Mudran Private Limited (BRBNMPL) in city outskirts, stated a press release from the DCF Office.
Residents living in the locality heaved a sigh of relief as the leopard, which had been spotted in the residential area for the past few months, was finally captured.
A couple of weeks ago, CCTV cameras installed in BRBNMPL premises had captured the movement of a leopard, following which the RBI authorities called the Leopard Task Force (LTF) Control Room and also visited the Forest Department's Regional Office and lodged a complaint.
