Bengaluru, Dec. 29 -- As Indian hockey completed a hundred years of inspiring the nation, the Jayanagara Kodava Sangha, Bengaluru, chose to honour the landmark not by looking back alone, but by lighting a path forward - placing children at the centre of its centenary celebrations through a dedicated hockey tournament for young players.

The tournament, organised for boys and girls aged 8 to 13 years, was held on Dec. 21 at Turf City, JP Nagar 7th Phase, offering children an opportunity to experience competitive hockey in a structured, encouraging environment.
