Mysuru, Jan. 22 -- Three kho kho players from Mysuru represented Karnataka team at the 44th Sub Junior National Kho Kho Championship (Boys and Girls) organised by the Kho Kho Federation of India at Surat in Gujarat recently.

The students who took part in the championship are J. Nithesh, R. Shivaraj and Dakshashree, all students of Annayappa Bhyraveshwara School located at Basavanagudi in city. Nithesh was the captain of Karnataka team which emerged as champions defeating Tamil Nadu in the finals.

Meanwhile, Dakshashree represented Karnataka Sub Junior Girls team which won the bronze medal in the championship.
