Mysuru, June 22 -- The Cauvery Neeravari Nigama Limited (CNNL) has clarified that the Kabini Reservoir in H.D. Kote, Mysuru district, is safe.

In a press release, the CNNL Managing Director addressed concerns raised by certain visual media outlets, stating that outdated videos on the Kabini Dam were being circulated to spread misleading information and cause unnecessary panic among the public.

To ensure transparency, the Superintending Engineer of the Varuna Division was directed to verify the claims and submit a report along with video evidence regarding the Dam's safety.
