Residents are facing serious issues concerning the street lighting in the areas surrounding Lingambudhi Lake.

For the past several months, the streetlights in this region have either not been switched on in the evenings or function very erratically. On some days, they are switched on, while on others, the entire stretch remains in complete darkness.

This inconsistency is creating a hazardous environment for residents, especially women and children, who often need to use the road during early evenings or after dark.

The lack of proper street lighting significantly increases the risk of accidents and raises serious safety concerns.
