India, July 2 -- The drain works being taken up on Durgamba Temple Cross in Gandhinagar is going on at a snail's pace and a trench is dug up for the construction of the drain months ago. Residents said that rain water gets collected in the drain and remains stagnant for months making it a perfect place for mosquitoes to breed. They have urged the authorities concerned to speed up the works for the benefit of the residents.
