India, Sept. 7 -- Authorities take up cleaning, painting & illumination works

Mysuru, Sept. 7 (MTY&VNS)- With this year's Dasara festivities just around the corner (Sept. 22 to Oct. 2), the District Administration has intensified preparations to ensure grand celebrations.

Cleaning and painting works of prominent circles and statues are underway, including K.R. Circle, Jayachamaraja Wadiyar Circle and Chamaraja Wadiyar Circle. Authorities have decided to retain the existing colour patterns of all circles.

The cleaning works are expected to be completed within the next couple of days.

Cleaning at Jayachamaraja Wadiyar Circle and Chamaraja Circle has been completed, while work at K.R. Circle is currently in progress.
