India, Oct. 23 -- Pathanamthitta (Kerala) Oct. 23 (UNI)- An accident occurred at Pramadam Stadium in Pathanamthitta yesterday when a portion of the helipad tarmac caved in as a helicopter carrying President Murmu landed.

The incident happened shortly after the helicopter touched down at Pramadam. According to officials at the site, the chopper's wheels slipped into the newly concreted temporary helipad surface, which had not yet fully set. This caused a depression that trapped the aircraft.
