Mysuru, May 19 -- Grand Master M.S. Thejkumar has been appointed as mentor and head coach of Great Minds Chess Academy (GMCA) which is set to inaugurate its new offline training centre in Saraswathipuram on May 23.

Addressing the media persons at Pathrakarthara Bhavan here recently, Thejkumar announced that the Academy will offer structured coaching programmes tailored to all skill levels - beginner, intermediate and advanced.

"The Academy will remain open throughout the day and all training modules have been personally designed by me to ensure high-quality, personalised instruction. This is part of my effort to give back to society and support budding chess players with professional coaching," he said.
