Mysuru, Oct. 5- Shamala Prasanna of Lakshmipuram has won 'Outstanding Garden' prize for the 28th consecutive year in the Dasara Home Garden Competition conducted by the Horticulture Department, Mysuru.

Speaking to SOM after receiving the prize from Horticulture Society Treasurer Shashikala Nagaraj, Shamala said, "In fact the enjoyment of seeing the well-grown plants which have been nurtured by me for 35 years - be it bonsais or cacti, succulents or lawn or ornamental plants - is amazing and very satisfying."
