Mysore/Mysuru, Sept. 21 -- Lakumi, a short film directed by Sutan Dileep was adjudged as First Best Short Film, in a contest organised as part of Dasara Film Festival-2025 at Inox Multiplex, Mall of Mysore on M.G. Road in the city recently. Dileep was presented with a memento and cash prize of Rs. 20,000.

Himbalisu directed by Manikanta secured second Best Short Film Award with a cash prize of Rs. 15,000 and Habbada Hasivu directed by D.S. Shashikumar, secured third Best Short Film award and cash prize of Rs. 10,000.

The short films were screened at Dasara Film Festival.

Lakumi was also awarded in the category of Best Cinematography and Himbalisu in Best Editor category.
