Mysore/Mysuru, Dec. 24 -- A crater that has developed on the main road of Janatha Nagar in T.K. Layout in city has been lurking danger. As Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) officials failed to take notice, the concerned locals have placed a dried coconut frond near the gap, to prevent any mishap.

It is alleged that, 15 days have passed since the crater emerged on the road near a petrol bunk adjacent to Taralabalu Educational Institutions, neither of the officials have visited the spot, at least in the interest of road users.

The Janatha Nagar main road is one of the busiest road stretches in city, with the educational institutions, residential areas and commercial establishments located nearby.
