CM unveils New Tourism Policy 2020-25
Mysore/Mysuru, Sept. 27 -- Impetus to culture of Lambani and Advasi communities
At a time when tourism is hit hard due to COVID-19, Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa unveiled 'Karnataka Tourism Policy' for the year 2020-25 this morning.
The policy was launched today to coincide with World Tourism Day. United Nations World Tourism Organisation has designated 2020 as the Year of Tourism and Rural Development. Karnataka tourism will be actively promoting 'Agri Tourism' this year to highlight the fascinating facts of rural Karnataka.
