Mysuru, Feb. 19 -- 19-year-old Samarth Hegde, a first semester Civil Engineering student of Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE) in city, has been selected to represent the South Zone in the prestigious Vizzy Trophy organised by Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) scheduled to be held at Panjim Gymkhana Ground in Goa from Mar. 1 to 5.

Samarth, a left-arm spinner and a left hand batter, trains at Mysuru Gymkhana Club and has steadily built a reputation as a promising cricketer.
