Mandya, April 9 -- State BJP President B.Y. Vijayendra launched a scathing attack on the Chief Minister Siddaramaiah-led Congress Government, accusing the latter of indulging in appeasement of Muslims, completely neglecting the welfare of backward classes, dalits and also the Hindus, who voted for them.
He was addressing the party workers during Janaakrosha Yatra, organised in front of Sir M. Visvesvaraya's statue in the town yesterday.
Vijayendra said, 20 months have elapsed since the Congress party came to power and the prices of at least over 50 commodities have gone up in a short span of time. Siddaramaiah, who points at the Central Government for the hike in petrol price, is now facing the ire of the public for increasing the price...
