Mysuru, July 2 -- Akshara, a city student who participated in the State-level Kids Athletics Sports Meet, organised at Sri Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru recently, has bagged a gold medal in Long-Jump event.

Daughter of Dr. M.R. Lokesh and Bhavya, Akshara is a 8th standard student at a private school here.

She is being guided by coach Prabhakar and has won many medals in District and State-level Sports Meets.
