Mysore/Mysuru, Feb. 3 -- The Azeez Sait Road (Mahadevapura Main Road) at Narasimharaja (NR) Assembly Constituency in the city has now got a heritage touch. The ornamental lamp posts are being installed at the centre of the road median, giving a new heritage look to the 3.5-km-long busy stretch of road.
As the city is growing by leaps and bounds, witnessing the surge in traffic density, Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) has taken up the works on installing 105 electric poles at an estimated cost of Rs. 1 crore. While works are on to fix LED bulbs to the same, lamp posts have been put up from Nexus Mall junction to KSRTC bus depot at Sathagalli, realising the long-cherished dream of residents of that part of the city.
