Mumbai/Mysuru, Sept. 25 -- Dean Mervyn Jones, an Australian cricket commentator, coach and cricketer, who died after a cardiac arrest in Mumbai yesterday, had a connection with Mysuru too.

He had visited the city in 2017 to witness the Karnataka Premier League (KPL) cricket matches. At that time, he, along with Star Sports team, had visited the important tourist places.

During that time, he visited Bombay Tiffany's Annexe, a famous sweet mart on D. Devaraj Urs Road, and had savored a variety of traditional sweets including the Mysurupak. He was said to be bowled out for the taste of the signature Mysurupak sweet and got it packed to his friends and relatives.
