India, Oct. 8 -- Mysore Bar Association condemns shoe-hurling on Supreme Court CJI

Mysuru, Oct. 8 (GA&DM)- Strongly condemning the act of a senior Supreme Court Advocate hurling a shoe at Chief Justice of India (CJI) B.R. Gavai in a Supreme Court (SC) Courtroom on Monday, city Advocates boycotted the Court proceedings for the day and staged a protest under the aegis of Mysore Bar Association, in front of Mahatma Gandhi's bust, opposite City Law Courts Complex here this morning.
