Mysuru, April 17 -- Sugama Sangeetha Academy Trust, Mysuru, and Kannada & Culture Department have organised a unique music programme titled 'Nalavattara Nalivu' at Ramagovinda Kalavedike in Ganabharathi premises, Kuvempunagar, from Apr. 17 to 20 at 6 pm.

The event commemorates Sugama Sangeetha Academy's 40th anniversary. The brainchild of H.R. Leelavathi, a noted singer, music composer, poet and her husband late S.G. Raghuram, the Academy took its birth in Mysuru on 19.5.1985 to promote light classical music based on the poems written and popularised by dozens of poets and poetesses.
