Deputy Minister of Defence Major General Aruna Jayasekara (Retd), held a meeting with the United Nations Resident Coordinator for Sri Lanka, Marc-Andre Franche, on Thursday (Mar 27) at his office in Colombo.
This meeting followed an initial discussion held last month and centred on strengthening Sri Lanka's participation in UN peacekeeping operations.
