The Security Forces Headquarters - East (SFHQ-East) organised a Sinhala and Tamil New Year festival on 8 April 2025 at the SFHQ-East playground. The festival included traditional games such as pillow fighting, pot breaking, tug-of-war, bun-eating contests and balloon-blowing competitions.
Major General P.R Pathiravithana USAWC psc, Commander of Security Forces (East), graced the event as the Chief Guest. Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks and their families participated in the festival.
