Colombo, Sri Lanka, Feb. 16 -- Sri Lanka Army issued the following press release:
Under the guidance of the Commander, Security Forces (East), Major General P.R Pathiravithana USAWC psc, the troops of the 3rd Sri Lanka Ordnance Corps recently established a water supply project in Parakum Village on 11th February 2025, with the intention of providing purified, safe drinking water to the community. The project was financially supported by Mr. Mangala Pieris.
The construction of the plant was undertaken by the troops of the 3rd Engineer Services Regiment.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Commander Logistics Command (East), Major General W.M.S.N Wijekoon ndc AATO, the Commanding Officer of the 3rd Sri Lanka Ordnance Corps, Senio...
