Troops of the 54 Infantry Division conducted a donation programme on 30 March 2025 at the Diocesan Center, Mannar, distributing dry ration packs to low-income families and maternity aid to pregnant mothers. The initiative was financially supported by Mr. and Mrs. Seah Wong Chi and foreign well-wishers, coordinated by the Sarana Buddhist Foundation.
On the same day, the Sarana Buddhist Foundation organized an alms-giving programme at Mathotta Rajamaha Viharaya, offering alms to 60 monks of the Rajarata Buddhist Bhiksu University of Sri Lanka with the assistance of 10 (V) Gemunu Watch troops.
