Troops of 9 Gajaba Regiment under the 21 Infantry Division successfully repaired a partially damaged section of the Kolongolla tank bund located at Bogahawewa Grama Niladari Division in Padaviya Divisional Secretariat Division on 04th April 2025.
The damage posed a significant risk to the paddy cultivation of the surrounding community. With the support of the residents in the area, the troops strengthened the bund using sandbags, thereby preventing potential flooding.
Similarly, troops of the 14 Rocket Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery and 7 (V) Sri Lanka Armourd Corps successfully repaired a partially damaged section of the Hempitiyagama tank bund located in...
