The Photo Archives building of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force (SLAVF) was declared open by Major General M.T.K.R Silva KSP, the Deputy Commandant of SLAVF on 24 April 2024 at the SLAVF Headquarters.
The Photo Archives building was established with the intention of paying tribute to members who have joined the Volunteer Force throughout its history. The cherished memories from Intake 1 to 61A, along with the lady intakes from Intake 1 to 18, are displayed in the newly erected building.
