In line with its 74th Anniversary, the Sri Lanka Air Force conducted the 26th consecutive 'Guwan Hamuda Papedi Sawariya 2025' from 28 February to 02 March 2025. The three-stage race covered 408km from Weerawila to Galle Face via Ratnapura, Kandy, Kurunegala, and Katunayaka, with the participation of 166 cyclists, including foreign competitors.

Lance Corporal Sandaruwan Pinthu of the Sri Lanka Army secured overall second place, while Craftsman Memanage Perera finished third, also claiming the Under-23 championship.
