The 'Living Legend' documentary was honoured with the Special Jury Award at the 21st Raigam Tele'es, the Nation's Tele Awards 2024, held on 29 March 2025 at the Shangri-La Hotel.
The documentary was produced in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Army to mark its 75th Anniversary and it offered an in-depth exploration of ten key military installations across the country. The documentary, directed by Mr. Imesh Udayanga Sutherland of News 1st - Sirasa TV, showcased the Army's legacy, resilience and dedication through the meticulous research.
