The Sri Lanka Military Academy (SLMA) marked a historic milestone on 06 June 2025 with the inauguration of the Indo-Lanka Friendship Reading Section, an initiative aimed at strengthening bilateral ties and promoting academic and cultural exchange between Sri Lanka and India.
Mr. Shri Rajesh Kumar Singh, Defence Secretary of India, graced the event as the Chief Guest.
The day's proceedings commenced with the arrival of Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP ctf-ndu psc IG, Commander of the Army. He was accorded a ceremonial Guard Turnout and subsequently paid floral tribute at the War Heroes' Memorial.
