The SLAF Fire Service conducted a Fire Safety Awareness Lecture and Firefighting Demonstration on 20 May 2025 for the personnel of the Samanalawewa Hydropower Station, further strengthening inter-agency collaboration and promoting industrial fire safety awareness.
This programme was conducted under the guidance of the Director General Air Operations, Air Vice Marshal Deshapriya Silva. The programme included a comprehensive lecture on fire prevention techniques, emergency response protocols and practical demonstrations of firefighting procedures.
