The SLAF Women's Weightlifting Team secured the Overall Women's Title at the National Weightlifting Championship, organized by the Sri Lanka Weightlifting Federation, by achieving an impressive tally of five gold medals and three silver medals.
The National Weightlifting Championship took place at the Gallella Sports Complex in Polonnaruwa from 29 March to 02 April 2025 attracting participation from numerous athletes representing various weightlifting clubs.
