In a notable development within Sri Lanka's shooting sports community, the Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) has officially taken over the leadership of the National Rifle Association of Sri Lanka (NRASL) for the 2025-2027 term. The transition of authority was formalized during the NRASL's Annual General Meeting held on 29 May 2025 at the Sri Lanka Navy's Lighthouse Galley in Colombo.
