The Sri Lankan Defence Secretary Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyacontha (Retd) met the Indian Raksha Rajya Mantri (Minister of State for Defence) Shri Sanjay Seth in India, today (Feb 12). The meeting took place during the ongoing Aero India 2025 air show in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
Discussions were primary focused on enhancing defence cooperation and exploring collaborative opportunities in the aerospace and security sectors. They both acknowledged the importance of fostering strong bilateral relations and shared insights on potential joint initiatives mutually beneficial to both nations.
