Colombo, Sri Lanka, Dec. 11 -- Ministry of Defence and Urban Development issued the following news release:
Platypus Link (Pvt) Ltd and Texlin Global (Pvt) Ltd jointly donated essential relief items to support families affected by the recent floods and landslides across the island.
The donation was handed over to the Defence Secretary Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyacontha (Retd) at the Ministry of Defence today (11 December).
The General Manager, Major General Udaya Herath (Retd), handed over the donation to the Defence Secretary at his office today.
