The newly appointed Director of the National Cadet Corps (NCC), Brigadier Rajitha Premathilake, met with Deputy Minister of Defence Major General Aruna Jayasekara (Retd), at his office on Thursday (Mar 27).
During the meeting, Brigadier Premathilake expressed his gratitude to the Deputy Minister for the continued support and guidance extended to the NCC. He also provided an overview of the ongoing training programs, leadership development initiatives for school cadets, and future plans aimed at further enhancing the NCC's role in youth development.
