Major General W.L.A.C Perera RWP RSP USP assumed duties in a solemn yet ceremonious event, as the General Officer Commanding the 24 Infantry Division on 25 April 2024 amidst the religious blessings.
The proceedings commenced according a Guard Turnout and Guard of Honor to the General Officer Commanding. Then after, he appeared in a group photograph and planted a sapling in the 24 Infantry Division compound marking his duty assumption in new appoinment.
